1. Welcome to Greece

You will arrive at Chania International Airport and private transportation will take you to your hotel. Enjoy your hotel and relax before the next day full of adventure.

2. Chania Walking Tour

f your visit to Chania has thus far centered on the renowned landmarks within the Old Town and the Venetian Harbor, this tour promises an entirely different and exclusive experience. Departing from the typical tourist route, we invite you to delve into the hidden gems known only to the locals — streets, buildings, hip spots, and neighborhoods that carry the echoes of Venetian, Ottoman, and ancient Cretan lives. Our distinctive tour offers more than a mere stroll through familiar monuments. Immerse yourself in the charm of flower-adorned neighborhoods, where Cretan history, mythology, and traditions come alive. Engage with locals, savoring authentic culinary delights that mirror the true essence of the region.

3. The Ultimate Food Tour of Chania Villages

In the Morning: This will be an unforgettable tasting day for you and your friends exploring the mainland of Chania and discovering the non-touristic locations of Apokoronas province. In a few hours, you’ll have the chance to meet the local producers and taste the pure and authentic delicacies of Crete.

The tour will start from a local olive mill where you will observe the olive oil production and learn the secrets of the finest quality of olive oil, the extra virgin one. Analytic descriptions will make you understand everything about olive oil from harvesting to your palate — exquisite tastes and flavours. Then, leaving the olive mill, you will get in touch with “Tsikoudia” or “Raki” production, the most famous Cretan spirit, by visiting a local distillery in a traditional village. The old conventional distillery tour and the new professional one will give you an idea about “holy water’s” production, and a tasting will follow.

Through a fantastic route passing by villages of the province, you will arrive in the White mountains’ foothills. In the village of Embrosneros, you will first stop in a bakery to taste the local bread, cookies & biscuits and then to a traditional cheese factory. The secrets of “Graviera”, “Anthotiro” and “Mizithra” cheese will be revealed in front of your eyes. After explaining each cheese’s production, you will taste them combined with local honey and rusk (dry bread) and more…

4. The Exotic Tour of Elafonisi Beach

We will discover one of the most beautiful and famous beaches in Greece in the southwestern part of the island on this tour. Elafonisi is a small island, so close to the beach that one can walk there. The crystal clear turquoise shallow waters combined with the thin white and coral-red sand create a landscape of exceptional beauty!

The route to Elafonisi won’t leave you disappointed. The pick up is from your hotel’s lobby. Driving through small traditional villages and crossing the Topolian gorge longwise, we reach our first stop. The cave of Agia Sofia, a beautiful natural monument with stalactites, stalagmites and a small chapel at its entrance, will take your breath away.

The next destination is Elafonisi! After reaching the beach, you are free to relax and enjoy the lovely scenery surrounding you. You can stay at the beach for three hours. On the way back, there will be an optional stop at the village Elos, where you get the chance to dine in the traditional tavern and taste delicious Cretan dishes. Finally, heading back to your hotel, the trip has come to its end, leaving you completely surprised and satisfied!

5. The Unique Tour of Samaria Gorge

The gorge of Samaria is the gem of the White Mountains! Hidden in the south part of the Chania district, it is the biggest gorge in Europe, covering an area of 18 kilometres in length. The nature park of Samaria was added to the World Network of Biosphere Reserves by UNESCO in 1981, with the aim to give prominence to and to protect valuable habitats for man and the rest of the biosphere.

The gorge of Samaria is counted among the top destinations of the Chania district, and a journey to Chania can never be considered complete unless you visit the gorge. You should therefore attempt a visit there, and its beauty will definitely not disappoint you.

The gorge’s path starts at Xyloskalo (Omalos plateau, 1,227 meters altitude), and after following the river bed, it ends up at the littoral village of Agia Roumeli. The trail of Samaria is the most visited trail in the country. It is perfectly equipped with signals and signs which eliminate the danger of getting lost, it is comfortable and very well cared for, mostly with stones and soil. It is not considered a challenging hike, vivid proof that hundreds of people cross it daily from the opening (in May) till the closing of its visiting season (in October). It is an enjoyable hike, not a strenuous one, with many landscape alternations and a multifaceted environment.

However, one should always keep in mind that though the trail as a whole is not tricky, one should be more careful during some parts of the trek.

6. Free Day

Today you are free to relax or explore the island on your own terms!
